The Carl Munkelwitz & Co. carriage, wagon and blacksmithing business was located on Railroad Avenue, across the street from the present movie theater.  In the 1920s this building was replaced by a brick structure where Munkelwitz continued the blacksmith business and also sold and serviced Chevrolet automobiles.
