The Sayville Congregational Church is located on the north side of South Main Street, across from the Sayville Library. Dedicated on January 2, 1890, the church replaced an earlier one built in 1849. That original structure was sold and moved to Railroad Avenue. The building to the right of the church, originally the rectory, is now the church office and library and was built in 1872.
