![]() First Reform Church was located on Cherry Avenue in West Sayville. It was designed by architect Arthur Hoefler and built in 1935 to replace the congregation's earlier church building on the site that had been destroyed by fire on November 8, 1933. The congregation later moved to a newer, larger church they built on Lakeland Avenue in Sayville--New Life Community Church. Today the First Reform Church building is the home of St. Mary's Malankara Orthodox Church. Undated postcard from the collection of Sayville Library. Back to Churches Back to Image Collection Home |
