Methodist Episcopal Church

The Sayville United Methodist Church was originally called the Methodist Episcopal Church.  The church building, designed by local architect Isaac H. Green Jr. and built in 1893, is located on the southwest corner of Greene Avenue and Main Street, Sayville.  The spire of the church, badly damaged by lightning during the hurricane of 1938, was removed and not replaced.
