The second Cedarshore Hotel under construction, spring 1924.  A fifth floor providing additional guest rooms, some without private bath, and a sunroom overlooking the bay and Fire Island, was added in 1925. (The first Cedarshore Hotel, built in early 1917, was completely destroyed by fire on June 4th of that year, before it opened.)
