Cedarshore grounds, looking south  from the driveway leading to the underground garage.  The 35-car garage served cottage and hotel residents.  It extended about three or four feet above the ground, had windows, and was hidden by a hedge.  The garage driveway was located about where the present driveway for 279 Handsome Avenue is today.  The Cedarshore tennis court is to the right.  Other buildings, from the left, are the musician's cottage (305 Handsome Avenue) and Gray's cottage (299 Handsome Avenue).  L. Gray was caretaker of the Cedarshore dining room.  He was also Maitre D' in the north end of the hotel.  This picture was taken somewhere around the mid to late 1920's.
