Bud Van Wyen, the unofficial "Mayor of West Sayville," stands in front of his service station in West Sayville.  The station was located where the West Sayville firehouse parking lot is.  After Bud's death, the building was moved to the northeast corner of Lincoln Avenue and Montauk Highway, in the shopping center parking lot, where it is used as the Chamber of Commerce Information Center.
