
Summer residence of the Frank S. Jones family, 1903-1926.
Designed by architect
Isaac H. Green Jr., the house was on Handsome Avenue on a huge tract of land
that stretched from Main Street to the bay. It also included a gatehouse,
many outbuildings
and a working farm that was formerly owned by E. R. Wilbur. The house was
destroyed by fire on May 20, 1957.
