The Anchorage, the summer residence of the William Tyson Hayward family.  The six-acre waterfront property was located on the west side of Greene Avenue.  The home, built in 1892, was designed by architect Isaac H. Green Jr.  It was sold in 1920 to a developer who divided the house in two and moved one of the halves, creating two houses from the one.
