
This view of a portion of the south side of Main Street shows,
from left to right, the firehouse (built in 1887), Jedlicka's Plumbing store
(built c.1888) and the Methodist Church (built in 1893). All three were
designed by local architect Isaac H. Green Jr. Jedlicka's was demolished
in 1954 and the North Fork Bank now occupies that site. The firehouse was
demolished in 1940.
