The Brooklyn Bards

March may be over, but the Erin go Bragh spirit is still strong with the The Brooklyn Bards! They are an acoustic traditional Irish folk band, performing across the tri-state area for over nine years. The band appears regularly at many Irish pubs, restaurants, weddings, and festivals. They play everything from the old Carolan tunes up to recent traditional repertoire, including reels, jigs, ballads, airs, drinking songs, marches, and rebel songs. The history of Ireland and its people is told in the deep lyrics, telling the true stories of patriots, struggles to survive, romance, and revelry set to unique melodies and rhythms.
