Program Description
Event Details
Create a patriotic craft for your home and then help show your appreciation for our local heroes! Included in your kit will be some thank you cards for you to fill out (handmade cards and pictures are also welcome!) along with a list of additional items that you can donate for Morale Boosting Bags being assembled by the USO of Metropolitan New York. These bags will be given out to National Guard members that have been activated to sites around Long Island and New York City due to COVID-19 and are living in hotels away from their families. Cards and items must be returned to the Library by Friday, June 4.
