Event Details

Join us for a 2.5 mile hike into Hubbard County Park to see colorful foliage of the beautiful tidal marshes. We'll see the historic Black Duck Lodge and explore the shore of Flanders Bay. The hike will be led by Lee McAllister, naturalist, photographer and author of the book "Hiking Long Island." Directions to the meeting spot: Take exit 65 N off of Sunrise Highway, head north on Route 24 for two miles and make a right on Red Creek Road.  After about 100 yards, pull over to the side of the road to park.
