IN PERSON: A World Within a World: The Bay Houses of Long Island - Film Screening and Discussion

Join us for a special screening of A World Within a World: The Bay Houses of Long Island, a documentary film production by Lincoln Gardens that explores the history and culture of bay houses in the Town of Hempstead. The film features five families who have carried on the traditions of building and caring for the fragile structures on the south shore’s marshlands. Following the film screening we’ll have a discussion with folklorist Nancy Solomon and filmmaker Greg Blank.
